Effective June 21, 2026
Terms of Use
Pre-launch draft. These terms require review by qualified counsel and must identify the operating company and governing jurisdiction before public release.
Purpose of the service
Porchlight Relay is a family coordination tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, professional caregiving, or emergency response.
Emergencies and medical decisions
Do not rely on Porchlight Relay for emergencies or time-critical medical decisions. Contact emergency services, a clinician, pharmacist, or other qualified professional when appropriate. Users are responsible for entering reminder information accurately and following professional instructions.
Accounts and authorized use
Users must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, protect their credentials, and use only care circles they are authorized to access. The owner controls membership, tablet pairing, exports, and deletion.
Care-recipient information
You may add another person’s information only when you have permission or lawful authority. You are responsible for the content you enter and for deciding who receives access.
Acceptable use
You may not access another family’s information, attempt to bypass security, upload unlawful or harmful content, disrupt the service, or use the service to harass, exploit, or endanger another person.
Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change as the product develops. Important care information should also be available through an appropriate backup method.
Termination and deletion
Access may be suspended for misuse or security risk. The owner may delete a care circle from Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes access for all members and paired tablets.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Porchlight Relay is not responsible for medical outcomes, missed reminders, inaccurate user-entered information, caregiver decisions, or failures of third-party networks and devices.
Contact and legal review
Final contact information, dispute terms, governing law, warranty language, and limitations of liability will be added after legal review and before public launch.
